This is one out of about twenty children, the offspring of a trumpeter in the guards, most of which were fidlers, dancing masters, or whores. This lady early adapted a notion of her mammas, that it was better to be a rich man's whore, than a poor man's wife; she is short and lusty, round faced, dark hair, and good eyes.
