Her Covent Garden Ladies Entry:
This is the daughter of a late messenger to the board of green cloth, she suffered very much for love, in her youth, and once attempted to hang herself, and another time did actually take arseneck, and with much-a-do recover; and by the good advice of a young apothecary,: was perswaded from attempting her precious life any more; though she was cured of a terrible swelling about ten months after, and afterwards thought proper to proceed in the trade of love which she is now a perfect mistress of. She is short and plump, fair hair'd, grey eyes, and rather vulgar in her carriage.
