Her Covent Garden Ladies Entry:

Various are the Schemes of designing Women, to secure to themselves that liberty which they so constantly abuse, This Lady who had long been famous, for her willingness of instructing the youthful part of her own Sex, in the rites and mysteries of Love, and bringing together those who were fond of amorous renecounters, by accident, a poor woman got very much in debt, and had it hardly in her power to keep off those ferocious animals, the Catchpoles, by giving them peace-offerings, when she fix'd her eye on a gentleman, and so artfully managd matters, that in a little time he married her, and in as short a time repented his Bargain, as he was oblig'd to fly his Country for debt while she laughs at her silly Creditors, and wantons in arms of a noted Tavern keeper near Covent-garden, well known by the name of black Jack, she is a short thick woman.
